A new generation Speedmaster with a sapphire sandwich and steel-on-steel construction. The steel case of the OMEGA Speedmaster ref.310.30.42.50.01.002 measures 42mm x 13,2mm in diameter and is worn on a brushed polished stainless steel bracelet. It features a grained and stepped matt black dial with recessed sub-counters and Super-LumiNova filled hour markers and hands. A sapphire crystal protects the dial. The caseback is also fitted with a sapphire crystal, revealing the Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 3861 that powers the watch. This hand-wound chronograph movement has 26 jewels and runs at 21.600 revolutions per hour, with a power reserve of 50 hours.
