Rolex GMT Master II “Sprite”

Ref. 126720VTNR is a unique GMT-Master II release from Rolex in 2022. It is just like other Rolex GMTs, except for the color of the bezel… and the fact that the crown and date are on the left side of the watch. This reference was quickly nicknamed “Sprite” due to its black-and-green bezel inset. It is powered by the same reliable automatic 3285 movement with the same 72-hour power reserve as other current Rolex GMT-Master II models. Although the Sprite's used prices exploded when it first came out, it now trades for similar prices to its right-handed counterparts. Collectors refer to watches with a crown on the left side as “Destro,” while Rolex calls this watch “left-hand drive.” They carefully avoid implying that the watch “should” be worn on the right wrist.
